terms of service

be steadied is provided for personal, non-commercial devotional, prayer, reflection, and wellness support. you agree to use the app lawfully and respectfully, and not to interfere with the app, attempt to access systems without permission, misuse content, or use be steadied in a way that harms others.

the core be steadied experience may not require an account. you are responsible for the device, Apple account, payment account, and settings you use with the app. if the app offers account features in the future, you are responsible for keeping your login information accurate and secure.

be steadied may offer free and paid features, including subscriptions. purchases are processed by Apple or another payment provider shown at checkout. subscription pricing, renewal timing, free trials, cancellation options, and refund rules are controlled by the payment provider and displayed during purchase.

subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. you can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple account settings.

be steadied provides prayer, scripture, reflection, journaling, reminders, and related devotional content for personal support. some content may be generated, selected, or personalized through automated systems in the app.

devotional content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not appropriate for every circumstance. you are responsible for how you use it. the app is not a medical device, therapy service, crisis service, professional counseling, pastoral counseling, or substitute for advice from qualified professionals.

if you are in danger, considering self-harm, or experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact emergency services or a qualified crisis resource immediately.

you are responsible for the text, choices, prayer entries, and other content you enter into be steadied. you agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or otherwise violates these terms. you keep ownership of content you enter, but you allow us to use it as needed to provide and improve the app features you choose to use.

the be steadied app, website, design, branding, graphics, text, software, and other materials are owned by be steadied, Vivant LLC, or our licensors. except for personal use within the app, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from our services unless we give written permission or applicable law allows it.

be steadied may rely on third-party services such as app stores, payment processors, analytics platforms including PostHog, paywall and subscription tools, diagnostics, hosting, notification, attribution, and support providers. those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. we are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

we may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of be steadied at any time. we may also change these terms by updating this page. if a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate. your continued use of be steadied after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.

you may stop using be steadied at any time. we may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these terms, created risk, misused the service, or if continued access is not commercially or legally practical. sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

be steadied is provided "as is" and "as available." to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.

to the fullest extent permitted by law, be steadied and Vivant LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. our total liability for any claim related to be steadied will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the claim or fifty dollars ($50.00).

these terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Vivant LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
